Founded in 2008, Sky Islands is a public, non-profit charter school, fully accredited for grades 9-12 by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Sky Islands is a vibrant teaching and learning community that provides a safe
and welcoming space of mutual support, respect, and responsibility. Through smaller classes, high expectations, and engaged academics and project-based activities, students gain confidence and give direction to their lives post-high school.
