Sky Islands in the News!

Sky Islands’ faculty were featured twice in the media last week! KVOA reporter Stephanie Weaver interviewed Lukas Bogard and students from his US/AZ History class about the teaching of 9/11, and the lessons they learned from discussing the cultural and social impacts that have occurred as a result. Next, Chef Aidan Gould was interviewed by Fat Tucson about the school’s farm-to-kitchen and Culinary Arts program, as well as why teaching students about eating local and sustainable food is important.
