2D Design Trip to Civano Community

Students in the 2D Design class took two trips to the Civano community as part of their studies in urban design. The students first drew maps and layouts of their own communities, then traveled to Civano to see how it differed in its layout, function, and overall sustainability from their own. Then, back in the classroom, the students used their observations to create new imagined urban communities that represented a more sustainable and community-based layout than their own.
