I just enrolled my 2 sons 9th and 12th grade and am very impressed. I meet with the teachers and director prior to the start of school. They spend a lot of time answering all our question. They spoke with both boys and found out what their interest where and what they expected from a school.
My 9th grader has not stopped talking about the school since the start up date.
He says it is a really neat school that the teachers take the time to get to know the students and that he feels as if it is not a teacher ran school like public schools. He says it feels more like a teacher/friend student ran school. That they all work together to make the difference.
If you are looking for a school that is nothing like public schools this is the school you are looking for. Where the students Education comes first. The classes are small the teachers and staff are involved. No student will be left behind.
If you have a student with special needs no worries the staff understands and are more then willing to see that these students receive the help they need.

I have been a student of both Lukas and Porter. They both have very exiting ,outgoing , and engrossing ways of teaching.

Everyone should definatly give these guys a chance to show you how school is really supposed to be.

Based both on my experience as a teacher in the public schools and as a former student of Dr. Popen's, I would strongly encourage everyone to investigate this exciting program--and to join in the adventure!
